As known, the developers preview version of Android 8.0 Oreo is now live and ready for installation on Google Nexus and Pixel devices. Please, as of the time of publishing the article, the codename “Oreo” hasn’t been confirmed as the official naming for the Android O, but we stick to it for now, and this article gets an update once naming is confirmed.

Android O Developer Preview – What You Need to Know?

Finally, Google officially announces the release about the first developer’s preview of the next version operating system codenamed, “Android O”. However, the factory images of Android O is now live for Pixel and Nexus devices, in other words, pixel and nexus users can now run the 8th version “Android 8.0 O” operating system (developer’s preview) on their devices.


Today, I’m going to be sharing some highlights about the Android O developer’s preview, detailing the new features and adjustment present on the operating system which makes it better than its predecessor (Nougat).
