The long anticipated Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Infinix Hot 2 is finally out, and upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow can be executed over-the-air. For those who wish to flash the OTA Update manually, you’ll make sure your Infinix Hot 2 is running on the stock Infinix Hot 2 Android one >> Download here <<. For rooted devices, I advise you flash to stock infinix Hot 2 (android one) rom. If your device is running on Android one stock rom, then you’ll need to download the Infinix Hot 2 stock recovery >> Download here << so that you’ll be able to boot to stock recovery mode to apply update.
Now that you’ve installed the stock recovery and stock rom… you can then install the OTA file manually... Follow the below procedure.
>> Download the OTA file here and Rename the downloaded OTA file to update.zip, and place the file to the root of your SD Card (don’t save in any folder; just place the file in root of your SD Card).
>> Next, boot device to stock recovery mode, simply power off device… then press and hold Volume Up + Power Button simultaneously till device is rebooted to recovery mode.
>> After that, using the power button, select “Apply update from SD Card”, browse for the update.zip file saved on the root of your SD Card and select.
Upgrade will begin, and your device will automatically reboot once installation is completed. Immediately your device is rebooted, you’ll begin to experience Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Infinix Hot 2 X510 devices.

How to flash Infinix Hot 2 to Android One stock ROM?
Requirements:
- SP Flash tools (Download)
- VCOM drivers (Read installation guide)
- Infinix Hot 2 (Android One) Stock ROM – download from the link provided above
Now… follow ssame method I used in flashing my Doogee F5 device… Check here… then instead of using “Format All + Download” use “firmware Upgrade”. Once you’ve flashed the stock rom… then use same procedure to flash the Infinix Hot 2 stock recovery… instead of using “firmware upgrade” make use of “Download only” to install the stock recovery.
Now that you’ve installed the stock recovery and stock rom… you can then install the OTA file manually... Follow the below procedure.

Hello I updated my infinix to marshmallow but the phone has now become slower. It takes longer to unlock, contacts don't show names, and its more difficult to hang up calls. Any solution?
