Information technology giants, Hewlett Packard (HP) has been in the business of developing awesome laptops over the years. This time around the company wowed me with the HP Pavilion x2 10 Touch which is a great option for kids or parents who want a cheap device to use at home and on the road. It can be an immersive media tablet, and it's a more-than- capable Web-surfing machine for when you want to do some shopping, check Facebook. Interestingly, the HP Pavilion x2 10t throws in more than 9 hours of battery life, and Bang & Olufsen speakers.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
My review copy of the HP Pavilion x2 10t comes In White and looks especially clean and frosty and features a sturdy plastic body, which looks quite premium to me. However, if you're not cool with the matte white plastic, you can choose from a more traditional turbo silver or bright sunset red. The positioning of all of the Pavilion x2's controls located in the top right corner makes me wonder if HP was reserving some space for what I can't tell. This control buttons include buttons for Windows and power, along with volume rocker.
The HP Pavilion x2 10t which features a 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800 touch screen makes room for wide viewing angles. Switching from tablet to laptop mode is also not a hard task. In order to transform the Pavilion x2 from laptop to tablet, all you need to do is grip the display while holding the keyboard in place, and simply lift away.
In terms of ports and connectivity, the Pavilion x2 accommodates both current and next-gen connectivity with one traditional USB 2.0 port and one reversible USB Type-C port. The USB Type-C port also doubles as the power jack, There is s also a mini HDMI port so you can push
content to an external display, as well as a combo headphone/mic jack and 1280 x 720 HP TrueVision HD webcam.

GENERAL PERFORMANCE
In terms of performance the HP Pavilion x2 10t beats the E-Fun Nextbook Flex 9 hands down though this is understandable seeing they don't belong to same price range. But that's not to say the HP Pavilion x2 10t will win a speed competition either. The Pavilion x2 featuring a 1.44-GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8300 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC (there is a 64GB variant) flash storage. felt snappy during typical use cases, such as browsing the Web with five or six tabs open or streaming a high-def video.
