Google started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Moto X Play devices and most users have already received and updated their operating system to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, whereas some other users are still yet to update theirs. Maybe having problem to update or wish to do theirs manually.

To automatically update to the latest build of Lollipop on your Infinix Hot Note or Hot Note Pro, simply go to settings >> about phone >> system update and begin update. For users with rooted device, please don’t try updating automatically, because your device will get bricked. Simply follow the below procedure to update yours manually.
Required File to be downloaded:
1. Firstly, download any of the firmware from the download link provided above.
2. After that, enable USB debugging on your Moto X Play from developers option under settings. Skip this process if your device is a bricked one.
3. Now, download Motorola USB drivers on your computer, for easy communication between your device and computer.
5. After that, extract the files from the Stock lollipop firmware zip files, and move to the ADB and fastboot folder.
6. Next, switch off your device and boot to bootloader mode. To boot, simply press and hold volume down and the power button together for few seconds.
7. After that, connect your device to computer via USB cable.
8. Now, open the ADB and fastboot folder were you’d moved all those files boot, system logos and image files.
9. Once you open the folder, open command prompt windows. Simply hold shift and right click your mouse, then select “open command windows”.
10. Once you get to command windows, then input the below command to verify your device connectivity to PC
adb devices
11. After that, input the below commands, and press enter for each command issued. Remember to rename OTA file to ota.zip.
adb sideload ota.zip
12. Once flashing process is completed, your device would be rebooted automatically.
