Recently, we looked into arrival of Xiaomi products to Africa. However, they’re set to launch the pro version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 codename “Redmi Note 2 Pro” as the device passes through TENAA revealing most specs.
The images we sourced out from TENNA shows that the Redmi Note 2 Pro comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back of the metal construction on the device.
Source also tells that Redmi Note 2 Pro features a 5.5-inch FHD display, 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 5MP front shooter, packs a 3060mAh battery and weights about 165grams with a 149.98 × 75.96 × 8.75 mm measurement.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro runs on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop from the box and powered by a Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset, octa-core processor coupled with a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage memory. Rumors being hyped on the pricing, as the cost of the smartphone might fall within $156-$172, but hasn’t been confirmed officially.
Hopefully, this product will arrive to Africa after its launch, and God knows how many units would be sold this time, since its predecessor, Redmi Note 2, sold out over 800k units within 12hours.
