How to Install TWRP and Root Yu Yuphoria
Before you can root and install TWRP on Yu Yuphoria, you've to first unlock the bootloader on YU Yuphoria android.
Step 1: Firstly, enable USB debugging mode of your device. To enable, Go to Settings » About Phone » Scroll down and tap build number several times until you will see a pop-up which states that, “You are now a developer”. Then go back to settings » developers option (which is above “About Phone”), and enable USB debugging. Also turn on “Advanced reboot option” and turn off “Cyanogen recovery”. And connect your device to PC
Step 2: Now, download the TWRP file from here and paste to the ABD folder which is located at the C drive of your computer.
Step 3: Also download SuperSU file from here, and move to the internal SD card of your phone.
Step 4: After that, boot your device to fastboot mode. To boot, simply Press and hold the Power button, then select and hold Reboot. You will get four options. Simply select “Fastboot Mode”.
Step 5: Next, open the ABD folder, and run command prompt (Shift + Right-click > Open Command Prompt).
Step 6: Once the command prompt windows is opened, the input the below command and press Enter, in other to install TWRP.
fastboot -i 0x2A96 flash recovery twrp.img
Step 7: Once the flashing process is completed, your phone would reboot. After that, switch off your device and boot to recovery mode. To boot, simply press and hold Volume Down+ Up button + press Power button.
Step 8: While in recovery mode, select install ZIP from SD Card, then select the SuperSu Zip file and install immediately.
Step 9: After that, from recovery mode, perform full system wipe (Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache Partition and then Wipe Dalvik Cache/ART cache from advanced
section).
Step 10: Once you've performed full system wipe, then select “Reboot System Now” and tap Yes.
That's it, your device would then have a root access and TWRP installation is completed.
